This weekend we went to PA to spend time with my sister Bonnie and her husband Mark. They got married 3 months before we did and this was our first time spending time together as married couples. It was a lot of fun! The only downside was that it was such a quick trip and I felt like we didn’t get to spend nearly enough time with M & B.
This was also our first road trip as a married couple.
Even though Corey looks pretty somber here, we really were looking forward to the time together in the car. I think I made Corey talk more than he’s ever talked in one weekend. He’s probably exhausted today. Sorry about that, husband! It’s just that I rarely have you trapped in one place with me for 7 hours.
Here are some more pictures from our adventures this weekend
Picnic at the Yellow Breeches at Messiah College. It was so fun to be there with Corey! So many great memories of my four years there.
After our picnic we went to Hershey’s Chocolate World to see how chocolate is made! This was Bonnie and Mark’s fifth time at Chocolate World (see the “5” in their picture?), and Mark is still fascinated with all the “real” chocolate.
We also got some AMAZING chocolate at the end–because what’s a trip to Hershey if you don’t get some chocolate out of the deal–and a gift to take home for Jon and Jess who were so sweet to walk Sammy while we were away.
We also spent a lot of time playing with Spencer, Bonnie and Mark’s cute little kitten, and eating delicious meals Bonnie made for us.
Thanks for such a great weekend, Watsons! We enjoyed every minute and can’t wait to do it again!
