FRIDAY!

September 4, 2015

I’m sharing some of my highlights from the week today.

My mom gave me this little shelf that my grandpa made a long long time ago. It was stained kind of dark, so I sanded it down and repainted it. It just needs a coat of protective wax, and it will go in our bathroom for some extra storage/knick knacks. I’m kind of in love with how it turned out, especially because it’s sort of sentimental.

I’ve started this bad habit of stopping by Rise after my last night shift of the week to get a biscuit and some coffee. It’s probably not the best for my health, but I’m telling you, nothing tastes better than one of their biscuits after working for 12+ hours overnight.

This puppy has been so snuggly this week! Every time I sit down, she climbs right up into my lap. I’m thoroughly enjoying the extra love :).

And last but not least, this little bit of good news–and your reactions to it–was probably my very favorite this week. The amount of relief we’ve felt with this news is just immense. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders. And thank you to everyone who commented on my Facebook. It is comforting to know we’re not walking through this alone, we so appreciate your diligent prayers. I’m in total disbelief that we’re so close to meeting our daughter! Ahhhh!

Happy Friday! Have a wonderful weekend!

Love this! I love when my puppy is a snuggler. Sitting on the couch with her is one of my favorites! And that shelf turned out super cute. I love when old things with a heart and a story can be made new like that!

Thanks! I’m happy with how the shelf turned out as well! Your puppy definitely looks like she has some spaniel in her. Ours is a springer spaniel, they’re notorious cuddlers :).
